Required documents for acquisition of the right for purchase and sale in border - line areas, by foreign residents of the EC
1.- Application to the Prefecture:
1.- Photo-copy of passport.
2.- Birth Certificate stamped by ‘Apostille’ and official translated to Greek language
3.- A Curriculum Vitae should be attached on the application addressed to the Prefecture, as well as an attorney should be appointed.
4.- A Greek citizen to represent the buyer to the Revenue Office.
For citizens of no-ECC countries:
1.- Photo-copy of passport.
2.- Birth certification official translated to Greek language.
3.- A Curriculum Vitae should be attached on the application to the Ministry of Defense.
4.- A Greek citizen to represent the buyer to the Revenue Office.
5.- Photo-copy of a bank account book issued by a Greek Bank, producing evidence of comfortable financial status of the applicant ( minimum balance: 6.000 €)
Fees:
Charged fee 1.300 € plus V.A.T. (13%)
Processing time is anticipated in approximately 45 - 60 days after the instruction is issued.
For non-EEC citizens processing time is 8-10 months and the charged fee is:
1.800 € plus VAT ( 13%)
The appointment of attorney is effective by Notarial Deed.
Stamp tax, fees, Notarial Deeds etc. are not included in the above charged fee.
Translation work in Greek language: 0,15 € per word (minimum document is charged 400 words)
Way of payment: 650 € deposit upon the instruction assignment of clients who have signed an agreement of purchase and sale.
Our office renders no service to persons interested in exclusively the acquisition of residence and work permit.
Any service which is not listed in the present text is subject to further charges, a result or written agreement.
