| As from December 6, 1996, we tried to
synchronize our links with those offered by Dr. Myles Clough at the Orthopaedic Links Site in
Kamloops, British Columbia, Canada and with those offered by Michael J. Dolan and Brendan Loughlin at LinkOrthopaedics in
Dundee, Scotland, United Kingdom. These two other Links Pages as well as Orthopaedic Information Service (Northern Ireland) have merged with this one to form an international group of orthopaedic surgeons who are attempting to make a comprehensive collection of orthopaedic links and will be sharing the work involved. As a result this page now has all the links collected on the LinkOrthopaedics page and on the Orthopaedic Links page. These two pages and the other mirrors, have the same collection starting February 28, 1997. In October 1997, four more editors joined the OWL group of cooperating volunteers :
In December 1997, the Dutch Mirror of the OWL collection of Links became active in close cooperation with NOV and Peter Kamstra from Emmen, The Netherlands, became an editor of the international page. If any other orthopaedic homepage wishes to post this collection of links and would like to share the work of collecting them please contact Dr. Myles Clough, managing editor of Orthopaedic Web Links in Canada. OWL is now an amalgamation of orthopaedic links pages as mentioned above, managed by seven different editors. Their collections reflect the internet resources which we think orthopaedic surgeons will be most interested in. For those interested in joining OWL either as a member or a mirror site we have posted the constitution. At Belgian Orthoweb, they continue to keep a limited Benelux collection of links listed under Interesting Links for Orthopaedic Surgeons. You will be able to help us improve this orthopaedic links page when you submit your URL to the Orthopaedic Web Links Submission Form. This mirroring will also help prevent unnecessary transcontinental internet trafic to all these links pages, since they will feature the same links anyway. All your critical comments and suggestions are most welcome.
