The Orthopaedics departement of the hellenic Red Cross Hospital was establised in 1985.
At the begining only afew number of beds was aveliable but through out time the number rised up to 30; these number is very often overcovert due to the cusualty departement wich works every 4 days
We have everyday offfice practice for the non hospitalised pattients from 8.00-14.30.
There is an operating theatre only for our departement, with all the necessery technical which works every day from 8.00-16.00 and every 4 days all around the clock.
The last years the number of the operations performed come up to an average 850 and they cover a grate range of orthopaedics, were as 250 minnor operations are performed at our small operating room.
